01 Origin
We are present in the world’s main fishing grounds, with our permanent float of wet-fish and freezer trawlers, to select the best range of products. First-sale of fish, shellfish, and cephalopods.

We also fully support the environment. We are currently developing a FIP (Fishery Improvement Project) alongside other companies and bodies to certify the sustainability of longline fishing by the European fleet.

02 Quality
From the moment the produce is Caught, and the time of First-Sale, we are engaged and monitor every process right up to final distribution. We carry out exhaustive quality controls throughout the value chain to meet food safety requirements, including the inspection, weighing, and sampling of produce and ensuring the cold chain is unbroken all the way to the plate.

Our headquarters are located in the Port of Vigo, with one of Europe’s largest logistical centres, which has consistently provided us with an exceptional base to develop the business.

Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan
Casa Botas, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union (NextGenerationEU), has carried out actions in the field of renewable energy generation, which will increase the competitiveness of the company, achieving greater independence regarding fluctuations in the energy market.
The new renewable energy facilities have the following objectives:
- Decarbonization: reducing the number of CO2 emissions.
- Energy Efficiency: optimizing resources and contributing to the protection of the environment.
- Pollution reduction: achieving a healthier environment.
- Circular Economy: valuing waste as a source of resources.
In addition to promoting the use of renewable energy, our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection also includes promoting responsible energy consumption, from carrying out small actions such as turning off lights and electrical devices when their use is not strictly necessary. , up to the optimization of energy production and consumption processes, always betting on renewable sources.
